CHANGE TO CAR PARKING AT LONDON STREET SURGERY
From 6th February 2012
The location of our parking spaces within the car park has changed.
We apologise for any inconvenience this change may cause you.
THE PLAN OF NEW SPACES IS DISPLAYED IN RECEPTION
Please be AWARE that Wheel-Clampers are operating in the car park.
You will be clamped if you are not parked within a designated surgery space.
Immobilarity, the wheel-clamper company, is employed by the car park owner. We regret that the practice cannot accept any responsibility or liability for clamped vehicles or for any release fee incurred.
Use of licensed wheel-clampers
Wheel-clampers who charge a release fee must have a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) if they are working on private land. It is a criminal offence for wheel-clampers without a licence to clamp your vehicle and to try to charge a release fee. It is also a criminal offence for someone to employ an unlicensed wheel-clamper, or for a landowner to allow a wheel-clamper who they know is unlicensed to operate on their property.
When you pay to have your vehicle released, the wheel-clamper must provide a receipt which includes the following information:
· the place where the vehicle was clamped
· their name and signature
· their SIA licence number (a 15 digit number on the front of their licence)
· the date.
Licensed wheel-clampers should also wear their SIA licence where you can see it at all times when they are working. You can check whether someone has a valid SIA licence by looking on a public register of licences on the SIA website at www.the-sia.org.uk, or from the SIA call centre on 0844 892 1025.
There is pay & display roadside parking.
Inevitably there will be times when you may wait longer than anticipated to see the doctor , such is the nature of general practice . Please ensure that you have paid for sufficient parking time. The practice cannot accept liability for any parking fees incurred.
Nearest car parks are Queens Road & The Oracle
There is disabled access to the surgery & a lift to take you to floors 1-3. If you require asistance to operate the lift please ask a member of our reception team.
