Youthhealthtalk enables young people, their family and friends, and professionals such as doctors and teachers to understand young people's experiences of health, illness and life in general. The website feature real-life accounts of issues such as effect on work and education, social life and relationships, consulting health professionals and treatment.

Patients with Urgent Mental Health Needs

Crisis Care Concordat

 London St Surgery will provide a same day response service to those experiencing a mental health crisis and support better access to appropriate services. We offer same day urgent consultations in response to any mental health crisis.

Our GPs work in collaboration with patients and carers in the community to prevent mental health crisis, and offer support to better manage relapses before they become  crises

As responsible clinicians to our patients we ensure that all relevant information are shared amongst other emergency service and urgent care mental health teams

We refer to CMHT & the Crisis Team

We support mental health service users to access social support services and refer to substance misuse services to address drug and alcohol problems.

We continually review our response & amend if local arrangements change

We work to improve the interface between Primary and Secondary care . Regular face to face contact between primary care and secondary care mental health teams enables better working relationship & to this end we hold regular meetings at the practice with Consultant Psychiatrist from Prospect Park Hospital.
